The
Los Angeles City Elections for 2003 are coming right up.
The Primary Nominating Election will be held on Tuesday, March 4,
and the General Municipal Election will be Tuesday May 20.
LA36,
the public service TV channel, reaches the City of LA and surrounding
communities through a variety of Cable providers. The LA36 Mission
is, "To create value to the Los Angeles Community by connecting
education and cultural resources that meet local needs, and by making
these resources broadly accessible within the city."
The station has a show called "Meet Your City Candidates"
-- a non-partisan election program which is airing all month in
preparation for the upcoming Citywide elections.
There are may episodes now through March 3rd, and each is listed
by City Council District through the link below.

are on the ballot this year:

the new "Touchscreen Early Voting" system. You can even
take a demo!
EDITOR'S NOTE: There will be 16 touchscreen locations around
town. You may choose any of them for your early voting convenience,
from Feb. 18 thru Feb. 28:
