The
National Registry of
Law Enforcement and Security Professionals
by law enforcement, for law enforcement
Want recognition on a national level for your professional career
in law enforcement and security? |
The "The National Registry of Law Enforcement and Security Professionals"
recognizes individuals as career professionals on a national level
within law enforcement and security-related fields.
Here's our website: www.lawenforcementandsecurity.com
If selected, you are honored with an award plaque, uniform lapel
pin, and certificate for your personnel folder which can be included
for potential promotion or job resumes. Hope you can join us in
our public safety mission!
The National Registry of Law Enforcement and Security Professionals
began in early 2001 based on the same ideas as one for Emergency
Medical Technicians. Not everyone qualifies.
A minimum time in the career field of either law enforcement (3
years) or security (2 years) is mandatory. An applicant must be
in good standing and agree, if honored, to conduct themselves as
a professional.
For many years, until 9/11, these fields were considered "blue collar."
Things have changed.
The National Registry allows recognition for efforts made by individuals
in these fields. A $90 application fee (fully refundable if you
are not selected) covers administrative costs of an award plaque
9x12", a certificate for your personnel file, and a lapel pin for
display as a member. We then mail these items directly to you or
to your boss who can give you an "official" award presentation in
front of peers at your request (as directed on the application form.)
The honor is for 3 years and you can include the award in your resume.
We are still growing in one of the largest career fields. Our ultimate
goal is to get other states, agencies, etc. to begin accepting lateral
recognition with re-training in agency specific areas as well as
provide online continuing education credits for your particular
field.
This agency is an "off-duty" initiative for us that we believe will
grow as current events continue. We hope this clears up your questions.
Thanks for the interest and feel free to share this information
with your colleagues!
