The Office of Councilmember Janice Hahn invites you to have your voices heard at a special Ad Hoc Committee presentation on Gang Violence & Youth Development / Gang Injunction Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 from 2:00pm at City Hall (Room No. To Be Announced) -- for additional information, please call 213 / 473-7015.
The topics of discussion will focus on the effectiveness and implementation of Gang Injunctions on Youth and the violence that stems from Gang Violence.
There will also be discussion about the effects that Gang Injunctions place on the Perpetrators, the Victims, the Communities and the Community Policing and Public Safety Advisory Committees that continue to work hard on improving the Overall Quality of Life in your Neighborhoods.
There are several Gang Injunction's Citywide and they have been an effective tool for the City Attorney's Office, LAPD, and the Communities to help suppress the Gang Members and the Crime and Drugs associated with Gang Activities!
Please come out and speak at the Ad Hoc Committee on your experiences and the effectiveness (if any) in your Neighborhood. Share your stories and experiences with gang injunctions in the City of L.A. Become Involved. It's your community too!
