Community Meeting to Present the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Budget
 

Residents are invited to attend a community meeting to review the Mayor's proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-R) Budget from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The City will allocate approximately $19.2 million to stimulate the economy through measures that modernize the city's infrastructure, improve energy efficiency, expand educational opportunities and access to healthcare.

The CDBG-R program must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income people. Residents have an opportunity to provide comments and suggestions prior to the adoption of the ARRA budget by the Mayor and Council.

All comments will be forwarded to the City Council, the Mayor, and submitted to HUD.

A community meeting is scheduled at the location listed below. The site is accessible to people with disabilities, and a Spanish translator will be available if requested in advance.
