Hello,
My name is Betty Ley and I'm the Citizen Secratary for Mission C-PAB (Community-Police Advisory Board) as well as their Outreach Committee Chair. I'm coming to you in hopes that you will assist me is getting the word out re: DON'T SHRINK OUR LAPD DEPARTMENTS.
Please send out an E-Blast to as many C-PAB members, Neighborhood Council members and community people as you have e-mail addresses for and ask:
1) Can they go to City Hall for public comment on Friday 10/16/09 at 10am to support the police hiring to attrition. WE DONT WANT TO SHRINK OUR LAPD DEPARTMENT
2) City Council needs to keep their promise.. They raised our trash fees for more police.
3) 40 to 60 officers retire or move on monthly. |
We need LAPD's C-PAB volunteers, Block Captains, NC members and community people to voice their comments.
Please let me know if you or others you contact can attend.
