Feb. 4, 2011 - Counterfeiters thrown for a loss ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents conducted "Operation Interception" in the weeks leading up to Super Bowl XLV to identify stores and vendors selling counterfeit game-related sportswear. The operation netted more than 36,000 items of phony Super Bowl memorabilia and other counterfeit goods valued at $3.56 million.

Feb. 3, 2011 - New Jersey ICE officers arrest 28 aliens that had been previously deported from the US
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducted an operation in New Jersey to locate and arrest immigration violators. Officers arrested 28 individuals who had previously been deported. Sixteen had prior criminal convictions ranging from distribution of a dangerous controlled substance to felony threatening to kill.

Feb. 2, 2011 - New York investigators seize 10 websites that illegally streamed copyrighted sporting and pay-per-view events
ICE HSI agents seized 10 websites that provided access to illegal, pirated telecasts of the National Football League (NFL), World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This seizure serves as the third phase of Operation in Our Sites, an ongoing investigation into websites that illegally offer copyrighted and counterfeited goods.

Jan. 31, 2011 - ICE arrests 2, detains 53 at Phoenix drop house
ICE HSI agents discovered a drop house in Phoenix, Ariz., after following up on a tip from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. More than 50 illegal aliens were detained at the residence. Two individuals were arrested on human smuggling charges.

Jan. 31, 2011 - California man sentenced to 17 years in prison for engaging in a child exploitation enterprise
Stephen Sims and others distributed child pornography to an international restricted membership group on a social networking website. The pornographic images and videos featured children being sexually abused and sometimes sodomized or subjected to bondage.
