April 8, 2011 - ICE assists in dismantling heroin distribution network in Pennsylvania

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents helped secure criminal charges against twelve suspects accused of operating a wide-reaching drug network based in southeastern Pennsylvania. The network was responsible for the distribution and sale of more than $16 million worth of heroin and cocaine each year.

April 7, 2011 - New York human resources firm partners with ICE

A human resources and labor relations consulting firm on Long Island, N.Y., has signed an IMAGE agreement with ICE. Short for ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers, IMAGE provides businesses an opportunity to strengthen hiring practices and ensure a legal workforce.

April 7, 2011 - Federal authorities at Washington Dulles arrest two Nigerians 5 days apart on heroin charges

ICE HSI special agents, along with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, arrested two Nigerian men at Washington Dulles International Airport for drug smuggling. The men allegedly ingested pellets containing heroin in an attempt to smuggle the drug into the U.S.

April 6, 2011 - Owners of L.A.-area immigration consulting business arrested for visa fraud

Three family members who operate MPEagle Consultants, an immigration consulting business based in California, were arrested Wednesday morning on immigration fraud charges. They allegedly filed bogus marriage and work visa petitions on behalf of illegal aliens who paid fees as high as $60,000.

April 6, 2011 - ICE returns stolen Warhol print to rightful owner

ICE HSI agents, working in conjunction with INTERPOL, the world's largest police organization, launched an investigation to locate an original piece of artwork created by Andy Warhol. The silkscreen print was stolen from an Argentinean art collector's home in 2005.
