Following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations ( HSI ), a Canadian woman was sentenced to eight years in prison for illegally importing Ecstasy pills into the United States from Canada.

Nov. 7, 2012 — El Paso attorney linked to drug cartel arrested on money laundering charges

HSI special agents arrested an El Paso, Texas, attorney on charges related to his involvement in a conspiracy to launder money believed to be drug trafficking proceeds.

Nov. 5, 2012 — ICE arrests 40 during 3-day operation targeting criminal aliens and immigration fugitives in Indianapolis area

Earlier this week, ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations ( ERO ) officers arrested 40 convicted criminal aliens, immigration fugitives and immigration violators, 25 of which had prior convictions for crimes such as assault, domestic battery, drunken driving and drugs.

Nov. 5, 2012 — Jamaican citizen sentenced to prison for illegally re-entering US
