SC Trooper Dies In Car Crash ?
A trooper died Tuesday after being involved in a car crash. WSPA repo rted that South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Rebman was parked in an emergency lane in his patrol vehicle when a pickup truck veered outside of its lane and hit the vehicle from behind, according to SCHP.

Woman Sentenced To 3 Years After Crashing Into Orange Police Officer While Under The Influence
?A 27-year-old woman was sentenced on Tuesday after driving her car under the influence and crashing into an Orange police officer who was standing near the curb. Ashley Victoria Bertolino, of Tustin, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in August to driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs causing bodily injury, driving under the influence of alcohol causing bodily injury and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08% or more causing bodily injury.

A suspected DUI driver was arrested after a man on a bicycle was struck and killed early Wednesday morning in Koreatown, authorities said. The collision was reported about 2 a.m. at the intersection of San Marino and Western Avenue, said Sgt. Edward Maciel of the Los Angeles Police Department's Olympic Division.

Man, 70, Dies After Being Struck And Dragged By Hit-And-Run Driver In Highland Park; ‘Person Of Interest' Detained: LAPD
?A 70-year-old man died after being struck and dragged by a driver who left the Highland Park scene, and one person has been detained, LAPD officials said Tuesday . The incident occurred about 5:50 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue 54 and York Boulevard. The victim was crossing the street at a marked crosswalk when he was struck and dragged by the driver of a Chevy Trailblazer, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Police Seek Public Help In Finding Missing Teen With Mental Capacity Of 7-Year-Old ?
Police today sought the public's help in locating a 19-year-old man with a diminished mental capacity who went missing in South Los Angeles earlier this month. Roy Catching Jr., who has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old, was last seen on Oct. 14 in the 6500 block of Fourth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Woman Is Fatally Shot In Reseda, And LAPD Is Looking For Answers ?
Los Angeles police on Tuesday were looking for more information after a 24-year-old woman was shot to death Saturday morning in Reseda. The fatal shooting was reported around 11 a.m. on the 19500 block of Enadia Way, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. When West Valley area patrol officers arrived, authorities said, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

?A burned body found near Mt. Wilson last week as firefighters battled a brush fire belonged to an 18-year-old who was reported missing earlier that day, authorities said Wednesday. Police and coroner's officials identified the man as Matthew Huerta, who was last seen in Sylmar the morning of Oct. 18. The Los Angeles Police Department released a photo and description of Huerta after he went missing and asked for help finding him.

2 Arrested In Brush Fires Near 118 Freeway ?
Police have arrested two people on suspicion of arson Tuesday after two brush fires broke out along a section of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Granada Hills. Both fires were reported about 8 a.m. – the first burning a half acre of brush near the westbound freeway at Hayvenhurst Avenue and a smaller one that broke out near the eastbound freeway at Woodley Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
