To all Community Members:
The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment in collaboration with
the Mayor's Office of the City of Los Angeles will be hosting the
2nd Annual Congress of Neighborhoods on April 5th, 2003.
This year's theme is 'TeamWork LA.'
We are seeking volunteers to assist at the event throughout the
day. We will need volunteers to greet and direct people, assist
in the registration, and to assist in other areas as needed.
This is expected to be the 'Largest Community Empowerment Event'
in the nation. City Departments, community leaders and professional
presenters will be at this event.
A Volunteer Orientation is scheduled on April 2, 2003 at 6:00 pm
at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
