Re: Early Notification System (ENS) Working Group Meeting Agenda

During the last several days we’ve been making improvements to the system that we use to send you our newsletters. As a result, some of you will be learning about the Early Notification Working Group for the first time because you didn’t get the earlier message.

You can always catch up on past newsletters by visting our Web site at www.lacityneighborhoods.com, and clicking on Newsroom>Newsletters. The one you want is dated February 14, 2003.

Attached as a PDF document (reprinted below for your convenience by LACP.org) is the agenda for the February 27th meeting of the Early Notification Working Group. We’ve received 15 RSVPs from people, in addition to the City staff, who would like to be part of this meeting. Of course, it isn’t necessary to attend to voice an opinion. You can e-mail me whatever you want, or fax it to (213) 485-4608.

At 4 p.m. today, the City’s giant computer system was supposed to have uploaded a large PDF document containing nearly all of the reference documents that will be distributed at the meeting.

All that’s missing is the working paper that includes the ideas that we’ve received so far, and some comments from DONE and the City Clerk who have been working on notification improvements for many months. That will be sent shortly.
