IAN's Alerts and Advisories
are presented as citywide issues emerge, designed to inform
the stakeholders and educate the various Los Angeles Neighborhood
Councils on regional and citywide issues, so as to facilitate
coalition building and assist with regional and citywide advocacy.

Watch
The LA Issues Action Network has
recently resurrected
the
NEW City
Watch,
and will be the
home of the
very popular and
effective publication for civic activists.
It will be presented
electronically on Monday of every other week.
Mission
The Mission
of the IAN is to provide opportunities to educate neighborhood
council activists on the complexity of city issues and to facilitate
coalition building between neighborhood councils and other city
stakeholders.

- Alerts / Advisory / Discussion Forums
The LA Issues
Action Network will use a number of tools to fulfill
its mission including public forums, web and electronic communications,
surveys and issue papers. It will attempt to have all points of
view reflected, as well as a summary of the commissions, committees
and other procedural milestones.
IAN
Membership
Anyone who is
interested in participating is welcome. Just provide us with your
email address and we will notify you of the next meeting. You will
be responsible to bring information regarding events and forums
to you neighborhood council and help IAN stay focused on
the issues that are relevant to them.
