Council Cable Television Workshops
WE
WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
The City of Los Angeles Information Technology Agency (ITA) is inviting
all Neighborhood Councils to participate in a series of focus group
workshops regarding cable television franchise renewals and the
future of cable communications in Los Angeles.
These workshops will include:
 |
an
overview of the franchise renewal process; |
|
examples
of state-of-the-art uses of cable systems in other cities (e.g.
Community Technology Centers, cable channels for local programming,
Distance Learning); |
|
brainstorming
to identify ways cable systems can connect Neighborhood Councils
and the general public with their communities. |
Please help us ensure full participation in these workshops by forwarding
this information to anyone who may be interested in attending. Workshops
will be held throughout the City.
