PLANNING THE NEXT CONGRESS
After the last Congress of Neighborhoods, we asked for and got several
people who volunteered to offer their ideas on how to shape the
next Congress on October 9.
We will gather together those people, and anyone else who wants
to come, on August 4 at 6:30 p.m. at 305 East First Street in Little
Tokyo. Parking will be free in Lot 7, which is behind the office
on Judge Aiso Street (aka San Pedro Street) between Temple Street
and First Street.
POSTING NEWSLETTERS AND DOCUMENTS ON OUR WEB SITE
Quite often you will receive a newsletter from us telling you that
new information is available on our home page, but it isn't there
when you check. This could be a trick to increase the number of
"hits" that our Web site receives, but it isn't.
When we decide to upload information to our Web site, it gets sent
the big computer in the Information Technology Agency. When technology
is on our side, the "big computer" posts our information
for your dining and dancing pleasure nine times a day. Those times
in a.m. are 4:03, 6:03, 8:03, and 10:03. In the p.m., the times
are: 12:03, 2:03, 4:03, and 8:03.
