PRESIDENTS' JOINT COMMISSION ON LAUSD GOVERNANCE.

The President of the City Council created a special commission to explore the issue of governance at the LAUSD and to make recommendations that lead to better public policy, improved student performance,and  increased parental involvement and accountability.

There will be a meeting of the commission on October 10 from 6 - 9 p.m.   The sole focus of the meeting will to hear the public's thoughts and concerns.  Each speaker will be limited to three minutes.
