Re:
Neighborhood Council Review Commission Public Hearing
Seven years ago, the City of Los Angeles created a system of Neighborhood Councils to give you a greater voice in local government . These are elected groups of your neighbors and other local stakeholders who give advice to the City Council and City Departments about how to better serve your neighborhood.
The Neighborhood Council Review Commission will hold a public hearing in the North Valley. Written comments or brief spoken comments are welcome.
WE want to hear from you!
- HOW WELL IS YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL REPRESENTING YOU AND YOUR NEEDS?
- DO PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS?
- DO NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS HAVE THE RIGHT ROLES AND POWER?
- IS THE CITY GOVERNMENT ORGANIZED TO HELP THE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCILS?
