Neighborhood Council Training Manual - Legal Issues for Neighborhood Councils
The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment would like to announce the addition of "Neighborhood Council Training Manual - Legal Issues for Neighborhood Councils" available in our reference library at www.lacityneighborhoods.com. This manual, together with services provided through the Office of the City Attorney, will serve as a valuable legal resource for all Neighborhood Councils. The manual covers many legal issues facing new and established Neighborhood Councils such as conflict of interest and election issues.
The new training manual is now available at www.lacityneighborhoods.com under the "Reference Library" section or at the following link:

The "Neighborhood Council Training Manual - Legal Issues for Neighborhood Councils" will be mailed to each Neighborhood Council thru the attention of the President/Chair in compact disk form, in July, 2007.
