Next Congress Planning Group Meeting - July 9th
Greetings friends and colleagues:
The congress planning group has held 3 meetings over the past 2 months. We have received great input on how to best organize and conduct an event that is more responsive to the needs of neighborhood councils. Between 15-30 participants have attended each of our meetings representing diverse communities throughout the city. The meetings are being professionally facilitated allowing DONE to participate as a partner in formulating the new and better Congress of Neighborhood Councils. We welcome one and all to make future Congress events work for more people and to broaden participation opportunities for every Angeleno interested in getting involved.
Our next meeting will take place on Monday - July 9th, 2007 at 6:30 PM at DWP JFB LA/Portland Room. (light snacks/refreshments provided)
Meeting Agenda:
- finalize Congress topics and theme
- finalize location
- create volunteer committees
