LA City Council Special Meeting
The Los Angeles City Council would like to invite you to participate in a special meeting of the council that will focus on environmental issues in our city. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, and Wednesday, October 10th at 10 AM in City Council Chambers, located at 200 N. Spring Street. There will be specific time set aside for public comment focusing on the city's environmental initiatives and emerging issues that we encourage you to participate in.
The meeting is a result of a Special Goal Setting Session this past July, where the Los Angeles City Council identified five policy areas to focus on this fiscal year. During this two-day event, the Council will be hearing from several city departments on their various environmental initiatives and policies and will have time dedicated to a series of panels on emerging environmental issues in Los Angeles. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
