Congress of Neighborhoods, Interactive Dialogues with City Department Managers
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce that Ron Galperin of the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council will be facilitating two Interactive Dialogues with City Department Managers at the upcoming Congress of Neighborhoods on October 27 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. These Interactive Dialogues are scheduled: 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
The sessions present a unique opportunity for City managers to share information about programs and resources available to Neighborhood Councils, and for the managers and NC board members to dialogue about how the departments can best serve NCs -- and how City departments and NCs can develop partnerships to best serve the needs of our Los Angeles neighborhoods and residents.
The sessions' goals are for department managers and for NC board members to learn from each other, to brainstorm, to strategize, and to develop strong working relationships. Your input is vital to realizing the goals of these sessions, and to integrating the work of City departments and Neighborhood Councils. You can help by e-mailing:

Your experiences in communicating and working with City departments.
Your ideas, suggestions, and strategies for partnering with City departments.
