Re: Education & Neighborhoods Committee Meeting
Education and Neighborhoods Committee Meeting to continue to review the Neighborhood Council Review Commission Recommendations.
The Education and Neighborhoods Committee will consider the Neighborhood Council Review Commission (NCRC) recommendations No. 3 and No. 18. Recommendation No. 3, if approved as recommended, would allow the filing of council files when submitted by three neighborhood councils. Recommendation No. 18, if approved as recommended, would identify the primary role of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment as facilitative and supportive to neighborhood councils. These are important issues for anyone involved with neighborhood councils and we strongly encourage the public to attend and voice their opinions.
