Re: Largest-Ever NC Board Orientation and More to Come! South/Harbor Area & West Area Trainings !
An overflow crowd of more than 150 people attended the Central/East Area NC Board Orientation on July 23 at the Hollywood Community Center. Featuring DONE staff, a representative of the City Attorneys Office, and Ron Galperin of the Bel Air Beverly Crest NC board, the training covered board basics, funding procedures, laws that govern NCs, and Community Impact Statements.
Board orientations are planned for the month of August, including:
