new LACP e-group member says "hello" and offers his assistance

Hello LACP,
I am a new member to this list. I am also a new resident of Los Angeles,
although I have worked here and attended school here since 1992.
As a new homeowner in Mt. Angelus (Highland Park) and concerned citizen
and criminal justice professional, I am looking for ways to use my
expertise to benefit my community.
I am also interested in meeting, learning, and exchanging ideas with
neighbors.
This is a great city and can be an even greater city if people like
us continue to participate in the process.
