Quarterly Meeting of the Southern California Neighborhood Partnership - Aug. 27, 2007
Dear NC Board Members and Associates,
On August 27th, 2007 at 11 a.m., the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, in collaboration with the Empowerment Congress Southeast Area Neighborhood Development Council and the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, will host a quarterly meeting of the Southern California Neighborhood Partnership.
The group was formed at a Neighborhoods, USA conference ten years ago comprised of staff and residents from So Cal cities who were interested in networking and sharing ideas on how we can improve our neighborhoods. The group is now the first official Neighborhoods, USA Affiliate and meets every quarter to learn and be inspired by the work of other communities and how everyone can make their neighborhood a better place to live.
Attached is a flyer and directions to the event. Please respond by Tuesday, August 21st. Seats are limited so we encourage you to respond as soon as possible.
